I'm currently art director at The Chinese Room in Brighton, where we are just wrapping up an ambitious Google Daydream title. Before The Chinese Room, I worked at Climax Studios, Zoe Mode, Kuju, Visual Sciences, Argonaut Studios, and Gremlin / Infogrammes.
In addition to video games, I find myself drawn to the wider art world for ideas. One of the most interesting aspects of my job is immersing myself in the work of inspirational artists from the fields of architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, and seeing their influence shaping my artwork. Umberto Boccioni and Barbara Hepworth lurk in the background of So Let Us Melt, whilst Googie architecture, Norman Rockwell and Edward Hopper heavily influenced Powerstar Golf.
